Very nice idea. You could think of the various constraints that will influence your design. If the front wall of the building is load-bearing (as drawn on this illustration), ask the architects what it means to create a large opening for the terrace doors. Check the orientation of the room (North, East, West...) and the implications for heat in summer / thermal loss in winter.
